The Magic Buckwheat Wrap

Let me introduce you to one of my all-time favourites, the buckwheat wrap.

  1. It’s quick and easy
  2. It’s cheap
  3. It doesn’t require a lot of kitchen appliance

Building materials

The basic ingredients? Only water and buckwheat flour. Perfect for a student. I add oat bran and cinnamon through the batter for a sweeter taste. It’s also possible to make it savoury, then add for example garlic, thyme, coriander, pepper and salt.

How to make it

The ratio buckwheat/water should be 100 (gram):200 (ml). Just try it out and create a nice and flexible substance. I don’t have a mixing bowl, so I use a glass. Bake the wrap on two sides. Then the best part, decoration! Some inspiration:

  • Banana and almonds
  • Salmon and spinach
  • Avocado and tomatoes
  • Walnuts and goat cheese

Enjoy!
